Zhu Beina said that over the past five years is the development of the cotton textile industry very challenging for 5 years, economy "the 'new normal', transformation and upgrading, sustainable development" is often mentioned, industry situation is complicated and changeable, member companies shut down, restructuring more. The new Council will turn the transfer mode, adjust the structure, and promote the upgrading of the industry as the first priority, to ensure the sustainable and healthy development of the industry.
The meeting also invited the relevant state ministries and commissions responsible person, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, industry experts and delegates around the technological innovation of the industry promotion, trade trend of cotton processing, quality of cotton and cotton textile market changes and other issues in the discussion.
